-Wishes Lagos East youths a prosperous New Year
The Vice Chairman (Lagos East) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Comrade Asoro Abubakri Olatunji ACArb, has described 2024 as a memorable year.
Asoro, who gave his perception of the year in a release he personally signed, also thanked critical stakeholders, while wishing youths in Lagos East, a prosperous new year.

“2024 came with beautiful memories and out of these memories came two exceptional ones which were engineered by prominent personalities who identify talents in young people and stick out their necks to invest and promote the growth of such individuals.
“My exchange program trip to China and subsequent emergence as the Vice Chairman (Lagos East) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, has been a life changing experience. My China trip particularly will have a far reaching effect on my perspective of leadership and humanitarian activities.
“For these, I remain indebted in gratitude to my mentors, especially Rep Babajimi Benson, representative, Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Park Management, Hon Olusesan Mayokun Daini, Executive Chairman Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA and my Chairman, Hon Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju FCA, FCTI (Executive Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA).
“The support of our leaders to the youth council during and after the elections cannot be emphasized enough. I use our leaders; Prince Gbadebo Taofeek (Chairman, Lagos State Judiciary Staff Union) and High Chief Kayode Odunuga (President, Lagos Civil Service Club) as a point of contact to all our leaders at all levels of our structures.
“The support of our Chairmen in Lagos East, since inception of our administration, is a further testament of their commitment to youth development. Hon Alabi Kolade David (Executive Chairman, Bariga and Chair of Chair Conference 57) Hon Abdullah Sesan Olowa (Executive Chairman, Ibeju Lekki), Akogun Wale Raji Anomo (Executive Chairman, Ikosi Ejirin), stand tall and I use them as a point of contact to all our Chairmen in the district under the leadership of Major Dele Osinowo, Vice Chairman (Lagos East), Conference 57 and Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
“Our Coordinators and heads of VYOs have been the engine driving our transformative agenda in their respective domains & flying the flag of our noble organization. They are our heroes.
